A customer may return a purchase under the following conditions – i) a product is defective on arrival, ii) a product or an accompanying item stops functioning within the warranty period that can be attributed to any manufacturing error, iii) you had a change of mind or you are not fully satisfied with a product.
In any case, the customer should submit the return form, contact our customer support and follow the procedure advised by the customer support agent. Once we receive your returns request, we’ll do our best to help you.
1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty
Beaverpad Canada offers customers with various types of warranties as provided by our manufacturers. All purchases at Beaverpad.ca, unless otherwise specified, are covered by various ranges of manufacturer's limited warranty that includes free parts replacements and repair services as applicable. The Warrantly period for the BeaverPad BP-1000 is 365 days from the date of your purchase.
Warranty protects our customers only from manufacturing defects; no artificial damage is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
If a purchased product, or any accompanying items or accessories stop working properly within the 1-year manufacturing warranty period, please contact our customer service immediately and follow the instructions provided by our customer service agent.
All shipping costs during the repair and return are to be covered by the customer but the customer will not incur any additional or hidden charges for repair services, or replacement of parts.
We sell our products with utmost confidence and test every product for fitness before dispatching it. However, if a customer still finds any products purchased at BeaverPad.ca to be defective upon arrival due to a manufacturing error, they may be entitled to a refund or replacement.
If you find an item to be defective upon arrival, please contact our customer support immediately to report your problems in details, complete the returns form and return the item to the location provided by our customer support agent. You must also be prepared to provide evidence if asked to support your claims about the product, such as videos, photographs, and written descriptions of the defects. Failure to provide evidence may result in delay or decline of your returns request.
Once we receive your return our technical team will examine the returned item and if our findings match with your report of defects, you will be entitled to a full refund or a replacement and compensation for any shipping costs incurred by you.
If you had a change of mind about a product or you are not fully satisfied, you have 7 days to return the product from the day you receive the product and ask for a refund or exchange.
To return an item, please submit a return form with details, contact our customer support and return the item to the address provided. Once we receive your returned item, we will review it and issue your refund.
For a full refund, you must return the item unused in its original packaging along with all the accessories. If an item has significantly noticeable signs of usage or damage and can no longer be listed as a ‘new’ item, your refund may be subject to a restocking fee or be declined.

Tablet
Before charging, turn off the tablet by pressing the power key for 3 seconds.
To charge the tablet, use the Micro USB charging cable provided (or any generic Micro USB cable) to connect one end to the tablet and another end to any generic power adapter or any other source of USB power supply.
While charging, the red light will be on. Once fully charged the red light will automatically go off.
It takes 3-4 hours for the tablet to be fully charged.
Stylus Pen
To charge the pen, unplug the silicon USB cover and connect one end of the USB cable to the pen and another end to a USB power adapter or another source of USB power supply.
While charging, the red right will be on. Once fully charged the red light will automatically go off.
It takes 2-3 hours for the pen to be fully charged.
To start using your BeaverPad for writing or drawing, press the 'Power' button in the middle for 3 seconds to turn the device on.
That's it! Your tablet is ready to go.
When the device is turned on, a green light will stay on at the top right corner of the tablet to indicate the active state of the tablet.
The tablet will shut down automatically if it remains unused for an hour and the green light will turn off to indicate the tablet being shut down.
To wake the tablet from automatic shutdown, press any of the three keys.
To manually shut down your tablet, press the 'Power' button for 3 seconds.
To turn the tablet back on, press the 'Power' button for 3 seconds.
Write
Write or draw anything on the black screen of the tablet using the stylus pen provided. The pen must be turned on in order for the lines to be registered for saving on the tablet or be transfered to another device later.
Wake
To wake the pen, press any key on the pen or touch the pen's nib to the screen. When the pen is connected to the tablet, the green light on the tablet will turn brighter.
Erase
If you are not satisfied with something you have written on the screen, you may erase the page and start over by clicking the 'back' button twice. This will give you a new blank page.
Save
Once you are satisfied with your notes or drawing, you may press the 'Save' button on the right to save your work on the tablet. Each saved file will be stored in .PNG format.
Once saved, you can transfer your files to an Android or iOS device using the eDraw app.
Using your finger, a different stylus, or any pointy objects will allow you to draw visible lines on the screen of your BeaverPad, but those lines will not be recognized by the BeaverPad's processor. Therefore, it will not be possible to save those lines on the BeaverPad or transfer them into another device. If you are writing or drawing something you would like to save, it is advised that you use the compatible stylus pen provided with your BeaverPad.
Connecting the BeaverPad to your Android or iOS Devices
1. Install the 'eDraw' app from Google Play or Apple App Store.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth of your phone or other handheld device.
3. Make sure your BeaverPad is turned on. The Android or iOS devices will not find the BeaverPad if it is turned off.
4. Open the 'eDraw' app on your device.
5. Click on 'iDraw' option from the menu.
6. Click on the '+' sign at the bottom of the menu.
7. After that, choose 'Handwriting Drawing' or 'Uploading Historical Works'.
8. Your Android or iOS device will now search for the BeaverPad via bluetooth.
9. Your BeaverPad should soon be connected to your device.
Transferring Files to Android or iOS Devices
10. If you want to transfer the files saved on your BeaverPad, click on 'Uploading Historical Works' options after step 6 above.
11. If your device is correctly connected to your BeaverPad it will automatically start transferring the files from the BeaverPad to the Android or iOS device.
12. Once the transferring is complete, you can click on the save button on top next to the Bluetooth logo in order to save the files permanently on your phone or handheld device.
Synchronizing or Live Drawing
BeaverPad gives you the unique opportunity to save your writing or drawing directly from your BeaverPad into your phone or handheld device. That is, everything you write on your BeaverPad gets visibly recorded in realtime on your connected device's screen.
13, For this you need to click on 'Handwriting Drawing' after step 6.
14. This will open a blank canvas on the 'eDraw' app on the screen of your connected device.
15. Bring the pen close to the screen of the Beaverpad, which will cause a small cursor to appear on the screen of the eDraw app of your Android or iOS device. The cursor will move in response to the movements of your pen, this is an indication that your BeaverPad is properly connected to your phone. If you begin writing without making sure the cursor is visible on the screen, it may miss parts of the lines you are drawing at the beginning.
16. If your device is properly connected, it will now begin displaying every stroke you take with your stylus pen on the BeaverPad onto your connected device's screen.
17. You may use the two buttons on the pen to change the thickness of lines on the canvas of the 'eDraw' app.
18. Once you are happy with your work, click on the 'Save' button to save your work. Your notes or drawing will now be saved on your Android or iOS device.
Caution: Using your finger, a different stylus pen, or any pointy object will allow you to draw visible lines on the screen of your BeaverPad, but those lines will not be recognized by the BeaverPad's processor and it will not be possible to save those lines on BeaverPad or transfer them into another device. If you are writing and drawing something you'd like to save, it is advised that you use the compatible stylus pen provided with your BeaverPad.
1. Download the driver for Windows or macOS directly from our website here (Windows, Mac).
2. Please remove drivers to any other Graphics Tablet currently installed from your computer to avoid any potential conflict.
3. Turn on your BeaverPad.
4. Connect your BeaverPad to your Windows or macOS computer using a USB cable.
5. You should now be able to use your BeaverPad as a graphics tablet.
6. To beging your writing/drawing, open the application you want to use for your work, e.g. Photoshop, Gimp, Paint, Word, MS Paint, etc. Bring the cursor to the drawing area of the app, and start your drawing or writing. Although the BeaverPad functions as a mouse when connected to a computer, its capacity to function as a mouse may be somewhat limited. Therefore, we recommend that you use the BeaverPad alongside a mouse as opposed to using it as an alternative to a mouse.
7. You can use any drawing apps such as Photoshop, GIMP, Word, MS Paint, to paint or draw using your BeaverPad with the stylus pen. As you draw or write on the BeaverPad, the writing and drawing will appear simultaneously on the BeaverPad and on your computer screen. This device is compatible with any application that supports freehand drawing.
Bluetooth connectivity
If you find yourself in a situation where the BeaverPad is not being recognized by your Android or iOS device, or the Bluetooth connectivity is acting inconsistently, you should do the following:
Make sure both the BeaverPad and the Stylus pen have enough power, if not, please recharge them both. If your BeaverPad or the stylus pen does not have sufficient power, it may cause the Bluetooth connectivity to be dropped recurrently.
Reset the BeaverPad using the Pinhole Button at the back.
Then clear the cache of the eDraw app, and reopen the app. You may also reinstall the app to make sure all the previous settings are gone.
Now, if you try to connect again everything should work properly.
Synchronizing
If it seems that some of your lines are being dropped on the eDraw app in response to what you are drawing on the BeaverPad, make sure that a cursor is visible on the eDraw app before you begin your drawing/writing. If you begin writing without the cursor being visible on the screen, it will not record the strokes you take on your BeaverPad screen.
